Ocean Beds Expands Global Villa Distribution Through Three Major Travel Technology Platforms
World’s largest provider of Florida vacation homes to the global travel trade adds Travelgate and Info Tera to its connectivity network, making 3,500+ villas easier to access and sell across Europe and Latin America.
Ocean Beds has expanded its international distribution network through new connections with Travelgate and Info Tera, adding to its Intuitive integration earlier this year and taking the business onto three major travel technology platforms.
The new partnerships significantly extend Ocean Beds’ reach in two key markets. The Travelgate integration connects Ocean Beds to a global network of 1,000+ Buyers and Sellers, creating new distribution opportunities across the UK, Europe and further international markets. The Info Tera integration provides a gateway into Latin America, including Brazil, making it easier for travel businesses in these regions to access and sell Ocean Beds’ villa inventory through technology they already use.
Ocean Beds is a villa-first, tech-enabled wholesale accommodation platform connecting tour operators, online travel agents (OTAs), bed banks, wholesalers and B2B distributors with accommodation for their customers. Its API provides access to more than 3,500 villas and vacation homes through a single connection, while its wider portfolio comprises over 9,000 accommodation options.
The expansion tackles one of the biggest challenges in the villa market: fragmentation. Unlike hotels, villa inventory can be spread across thousands of management companies and systems, making it more complex for the trade to sell at scale. Ocean Beds brings that supply together, providing a simpler route to market.
Through Travelgate, Ocean Beds uses FastX to standardize content, reduce mapping complexity and integration friction, helping Buyers activate and access its inventory more efficiently. Ocean Beds has seen businesses go from requesting a connection to going live in as little as one week.
The Info Tera integration opens further opportunities across Latin America and the Brazilian outbound market. To support this growth, Ocean Beds will also introduce Portuguese and Spanish language capabilities from October 2026, with further languages planned.
The commercial impact of improved connectivity is already being seen, with some partners experiencing a growth in bookings of up to 150% year on year, since going live with Ocean Beds’ API.
Anna-Maria Janssen, Group Product & Commercial Director and Managing Director of Ocean Beds, said: “Villa demand is growing, but distribution remains fragmented. These new connections make it easier for travel businesses to access and sell professionally managed villas through systems they already use. This isn’t technology for technology’s sake. It’s about removing barriers, opening up a growing accommodation category and giving our partners greater opportunity to grow their sales.”
The expansion comes as the global short-term rental market continues to grow. According to Phocuswright, gross bookings reached US$219.9 billion in 2025 and are forecast to reach US$270.6 billion by 2029. Homes are already the largest segment of the global vacation rental market, accounting for 47.7% of revenue in 2025, according to Grand View Research.
