Ocean Florida Makes Waves with 107% Cruise Growth as ‘Cruise & Stay’ Becomes Core Trade Focus

Ocean Florida’s cruise division has more than doubled in 2025, with sales up 107% year-on-year compared to 2024, positioning Cruise & Stay as one of the fastest-growing areas of the business across both trade and consumer channels.

While widely recognised as a Florida villa and theme park specialist, Ocean Florida is now actively reshaping the traditional fly-cruise model, shifting the pattern from the standard two-night pre- or post-cruise stay to fully integrated, multi-centre holidays built around both destination immersion and time at sea.

The operator has launched 10 dedicated Cruise & Stay itineraries, designed to combine meaningful time in Orlando with sailings from Port Canaveral. Rather than simply adding a couple of nights before boarding, the itineraries are structured to deliver a complete land-and-sea experience giving agents a higher-value, more experiential product to sell.

With Port Canaveral located just 1.5 hours from Orlando, the transition from theme parks or villa stays to ship is seamless. Families can enjoy the energy of Orlando before stepping onboard some of the world’s most recognisable cruise brands, maintaining the same family-focused entertainment and high-quality experiences throughout the trip.

Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) are currently key sellers within the portfolio, offering a natural crossover with Ocean Florida’s core audience. The alignment between theme park holidays and family cruising has driven strong conversion, particularly as clients increasingly seek variety within one extended trip.

Matt Rains, Managing Director of Trade Sales, Ocean Florida, said:

“Cruise is no longer an add-on for us it’s a core growth pillar. We know many agents still associate Ocean Florida primarily with Orlando accommodation, but Cruise & Stay is now a significant part of our business and growing rapidly. What’s really driving that growth is the shift in structure. We’re not just packaging a couple of nights before or after a sailing we’re building fully immersive holidays that combine the best of Orlando with the relaxation of a Caribbean cruise. For agents, that means a stronger story to sell and a higher overall booking value.”

Ocean Florida is continuing to invest in developing its Cruise & Stay programme, working closely with cruise partners and the trade to further position the product as a seamless, high-conversion extension to Florida bookings.
